Well first or all, when I saw this product at my local Wal-mart I about died of Happiness! Because I had seen so many great reviews On Youtube about this product, that I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to try it out for myself.
So I did.
And I have to say, I wasn't all that impressed..
First of all, here is what the product claim's..
-Visibly renewed lips and 8hr hydration.
-After 4 weeks, lips are visibly renewed and reborn.
And here is what it actually does..
Okay, so today was my first time trying this product after buying It yesterday at Wal-mart in the color "Pink Punch", and I decided to wear it to work thinking that It's tried and true "8hr moisturizing power" would be true to It's name, but SADLY it Just wasn't.
When I first Applied this product on my lip's I could already Tell that it wasn't going to be very moisturizing. The Consistency of this product feels very drying on you're lip's and Not creamy at all, which is what I usually look for in a lip Moisturizer.
I mean this product isn't totally awful. The color payoff isn't All that bad. It gave my lip's a cute pink color, but that doesn't Really count in my book, if it doesn't moisturize well.
After about an hour at work, my lip's were already starting to Feel dry. And that is very disappointing considering that The Product is supposed to moisturize for up to 8hr's.
And on top of that, the product was starting to cake up on the Edges of my lip's, which is not an attractive look at all.
I have this similar problem with other lip product's, but it Really doesn't look good when there is pink cakey lip product on The side's of you lip's. Gross much? Yes, oh yes..
So, all in all,
Would I buy this product again?
Probably not..
Is it worth the price?
I guess so, I mean $2.99 at my local wal-mart wasn't to bad to pay if you really want to try it out.
Hit or miss?
Definitely a miss for me.
